Previously Funded IWJV Projects
Spring Migration Waterfowl Food Availability, Southern Oregon and Northeast California (SONEC): The IWJV provided funding to the U.S. Geological Survey to assess food availability in flooded pasturelands of SONEC. This project provided the crucial research needed to complete the development of habitat objectives for northern pintails and other waterfowl in SONEC, a landscape that is widely considered the second most important spring staging area for waterfowl in North America.
