Erik Glenn

President, Partnership of Rangeland Trusts & Executive Director, Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust

Erik is the President of the Partnership of Rangeland Trusts (PORT). PORT is a membership organization made up of 9 agriculturally focused land trusts that operate in 11 states across the West and Midwest. Collectively, PORT members have helped to conserve more than 3 million acres of productive agricultural land. Erik also serves as the Executive Director of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT). Erik has facilitated the completion of more than 150 conservation easement transactions and helped to secure more than $20M in grants for the purchase of conservation easements throughout Colorado. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University, a Master of Resource Law Studies from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Erik also serves on the Board of Directors of Keep it Colorado, Parker Core Knowledge Charter School, and is a Trustee of the Western Stock Show Association. In his free time, Erik enjoys coaching youth soccer, reading, fishing, hunting, and exploring new places with his wife Shelby and their three children – Theodore, Henry, and Abigail.
