Apply Now for Small Grants With a Big Impact

Apply now for a North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) Grant! The Small Grants Program is a competitive, matching grants program that supports public-private partnerships carrying out projects that involve long-term protection, restoration, and/or enhancement of wetlands and associated upland habitats for the benefit of all wetlands-associated migratory birds. Grant requests may not exceed $100,000, and funding priority is given to grantees or partners new to the program.

Deadline for grant applications is October 18, 2018.

Since 1996, some 1,780 partners in 8,180 projects have received more than $49.7 million in grants.  They have contributed another $175 million in matching funds to affect 399,000 acres of habitat! The Small Grants Program is an important catalyst in developing a pool of new grantees and/or partners for the Standard Grants Program.
