Bruce Taylor has coordinated IWJV partners' activities in Oregon since the Joint Venture’s inception in 1994. He also serves as a partnership coordinator for the IWJV’s sister joint venture to the west, Pacific Birds Habitat Joint Venture.  Before 2015, he split his time between the two joint ventures and Defenders of Wildlife, where he managed the organization’s Oregon Biodiversity Program from 1994 to 2014.  Bruce grew up on the Oregon coast and returned to Oregon in 1991, after almost a decade as a congressional aide in northern California and Washington DC.  He started his career as a newspaper reporter and has a degree in journalism from Humboldt State University
