Catherine Wightman delivers habitat conservation for birds and other wildlife for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and focuses primarily on sagebrush, grassland, and wetland systems. She is also the state technical lead for sage grouse conservation and serves as the state Farm Bill Coordinator. Catherine is actively engaged with the Montana Bird Conservation Partnership and served as the coordinator of that group from 2008-2012. She is inspired by the staff and partnerships of all three Joint Ventures that work to catalyze habitat conservation in Montana. Catherine has lived throughout the Intermountain West including Colorado, Idaho, northern Arizona, and Montana.
