Don Kemner, State Habitat Manager

Don Kemner is the Habitat Program Manager for Idaho Department of Fish and Game, where he has worked since 1989. His professional interests include waterfowl and upland game management, wildlife habitat restoration, and engaging the public. His favorite motto is: “I am most comfortable, when I am uncomfortable” and he does his best work when he is outside of his comfort zone. Don has a B.S. and M.S. in Wildlife Management and Sciences from the University of Missouri and South Dakota State University, respectively. Don, Michelle, and their two girls live in Boise, Idaho, and love exploring the Idaho outdoors.
