Josh Vest, Science Coordinator, Ph. D
As Science Coordinator, Josh works with IWJV staff and the technical community to strengthen the biological foundation for avian habitat conservation in the Intermountain West. Josh’s background lies primarily in the ecology and conservation/management of waterfowl and wetland habitats, working on a variety of research projects across three Flyways. He received his academic training at Mississippi State University and Utah State University working on aspects of migrational ecology of waterfowl in the Mississippi Flyway and wintering ecology of waterfowl at the Great Salt Lake, respectively. Josh and his wife reside in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana.
