Kyle Tackett is the Resource Conservationist for Initiatives for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Montana.  Prior to his role as a Resource Conservationist, Kyle was the District Conservationist in the Dillon Field Office from 2007 to 2016.  He also spent 3 years working in Southeast Idaho for the NRCS.  Kyle is passionate about at-risk species conservation and working landscapes and has been a key part of both Arctic grayling and Sage-grouse conservation efforts in Montana.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Environmental Science from the Colorado School of Mines.  Kyle lives in Dillon with his wife, Katie, their two boys, and two Golden Retrievers.  In his free time, Kyle can usually be found fly tying, fishing, and camping with his family.
