IWJV Capacity Grants Program

The Intermountain West Joint Venture Capacity Grants Program is designed to build capacity and catalyze partnerships that measurably contribute to the protection, restoration, or enhancement of priority bird habitats to support sustainable populations of birds in the Intermountain West. Successful capacity grants are meant to join conservation partners together—around priority areas, habitats, or bird species—to improve conservation program effectiveness.

The IWJV will not be soliciting proposals for the Capacity Grants Program in FY2017. Based on direction from the Capacity-Building Committee of the IWJV Management Board, we will work with our partners to review collective accomplishments, scope out priority capacity-building needs and funding, and explore new opportunities to support working lands conservation that benefits local communities.  Stay tuned as we plan to seek input from partners like you! If you have immediate questions, please do not hesitate to contact Brian McDonald (brian.mcdonald@iwjv.org406-546-7755)or Ali Duvall (ali.duvall@iwjv.org406-549-0346).
