Join the IWJV for a NAWCA Kitchen Table Discussion!

The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) has been the cornerstone of voluntary, partnership-driven wetland habitat conservation in the Intermountain West for over 30 years, and NAWCA funding is currently at its highest level in a decade. Join the IWJV crew for a virtual Intermountain West NAWCA Kitchen Table discussion on December 9, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. MST, to learn about the program and what we see as some grand opportunities for wetlands conservation in 2021.

The IWJV team will provide:

  • An update on NAWCA funding;
  • Insights on program trends;
  • Thoughts for potential Standard Grants and Small Grants in the upcoming NAWCA cycles;
  • A half-hour of Q&A and open discussion on NAWCA.

12/04 UPDATE: Due to the popularity of the December 9 Kitchen Table Discussion, the IWJV will host a second session on December 22, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. MST, for those who’ve expressed interest but are unable to attend the first session. If you can’t make either discussion, recordings of each are posted below.

The recording from the December 9th session can be found here.

The recording from the December 22nd session can be found here.
