FY 2014 Habitat Project Accomplishments with the IWJV

October 6, 2014 (Missoula, Montana) - For several years, the Intermountain West Joint Venture (IWJV) has gathered habitat project information to report to the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This record of activities is increasingly important, as American taxpayers and federal agencies are seeking indicators of performance and accountability in these times of fiscal constraints. We are asking conservation partners that have benefited from IWJV funding, partnership support, and/or science to help us track accomplishments. In so doing, we are rolling individual successes into a cumulative total to tell the story at a regional scale of collaborative bird habitat conservation through science and partnerships. It’s as easy as filling out the attached form for FY 2014. In addition to helping quantify conservation impact, these successes will be highlighted in our strategic communications campaign and bolster strategic habitat conservation in FY 2015.

Forms should be completed and sent to IWJV Assistant Coordinator, Ali Duvall at by Monday, October 20
