Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership Workshop Materials

April 2014 (Idaho) - This spring, the Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership (IBCP) hosted three Bird Conservation on Private Lands workshops for Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) field staff and others who work with private landowners. The objective was to provide participants with the information and resources needed to avoid unintended adverse effects to birds and their habitats during implementation of Farm Bill program contracts and encourage the adoption of proactive approaches to bird conservation. Local and regional bird experts presented case studies at each workshop to inform participants about local bird conservation issues and ways to address those using Farm Bill programs.
