SGI SWAT Quarterly Report: July-September 2012

The Sage Grouse Initiative (SGI) Strategic Watershed Action Team (SWAT) Quarterly Report covers the time period from July 1 to September 30, 2012. SGI SWAT, which is coordinated by the IWJV, saw significant gains in each of its three focus areas:  field delivery, science, and communications. Thanks to significant contributions by JV partners across the West – such as state fish and wildlife organizations, NGOs, conservation districts, and corporations – the SGI SWAT is playing a key role in sagebrush habitat conservation at an extraordinary scale.
