IBCP Goals

The goals of the Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership are to:

  • provide leadership for bird conservation and management in Idaho;
  • identify opportunities to leverage partner resources;
  • increase support for birds and their habitats through effective communication;
  • and conserve intact landscapes to support sustainable populations of birds on private and public land.

The Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership accomplishes its goals through several working groups:

  • Conservation Delivery (IWJV state conservation partnership)
  • Funding Acquisition
  • Information Management
  • Outreach/Education and Citizen Science
  • Pressing Bird Conservation Issues
  • Research and Monitoring
  • State Wildlife Action Plan Revision
