IBCP Goals
The goals of the Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership are to:
- provide leadership for bird conservation and management in Idaho;
- identify opportunities to leverage partner resources;
- increase support for birds and their habitats through effective communication;
- and conserve intact landscapes to support sustainable populations of birds on private and public land.
The Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership accomplishes its goals through several working groups:
- Conservation Delivery (IWJV state conservation partnership)
- Funding Acquisition
- Information Management
- Outreach/Education and Citizen Science
- Pressing Bird Conservation Issues
- Research and Monitoring
- State Wildlife Action Plan Revision
