A new paper from the IWJV Science to Implementation team and partners describes a collective problem-solving process referred to as technical transfer. This discipline seeks to bridge the information gap between scientists and land managers and empower communities to address local land management challenges. We interviewed two authors to learn more.
This science is particularly powerful as a tool that shows where strategic conservation can have large effects.
Beyond science papers and resources authored by partner organizations and universities, the Resource List features the strong body of science and tools produced in-house by the IWJV.
A total of 31 western conservationists representing a diversity of perspectives participated in the first course, and the program is now recruiting for the 2022-2023 course.
